Information for theses students, available thesis proposals and ongoing/completed theses under the supervision of Prof. Armando Di Nardo.

Thesis Proposals Available

The thesis proposals concern the application of innovative methodologies and digital tools for the optimal management of water resources and environmental remediation. Some active topics:

  • Smart Water Networks: Water districting algorithms based on graph theory and artificial intelligence for leak detection.
  • Digital Twin: Creating digital twins of real urban water networks for real-time simulations.
  • Aquifer Reclamation: Numerical modeling of pollutant transport and design of reactive permeable barriers.
